Select Knowledge Limited, the Harpenden-based specialist in business education and management development, has signed an exclusive agreement with University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). The agreement is a sign of Select's growing success in the corporate education and training market.

CIE the world's leading provider of international qualifications and assessments. Under the terms of the new agreement, Select Knowledge and CIE jointly will develop a range of flexible learning resources. These will be used to support the Cambridge International Diploma in Management, and will be sold to clients throughout the world.

The Diploma provides a framework for the development of the business skills and knowledge needed at front-line and middle management levels. It covers topics such as finance, strategy, quality, operations and people management. The Diploma has been developed specifically for the international market, to meet the needs of a growing number of employees whose career paths take them across both geographic and cultural boundaries.

The flexible learning resources developed for the Cambridge International Diploma in Management by Select Knowledge and CIE are in line with CIE's latest curriculum, for use in the international market. Under the terms of the exclusive agreement, the resources are being written by Cambridge consultants and content experts, and will be published and distributed by Select Knowledge. They will be available from January 2005.
